Many thanks for the group of members who dragged themselves out of bed to come down and clean up their bit of water. We had hoped for a better response from the other loch users and our own club for that matter!

So the thanks go out to the following;

The SCA have a yearly 'Clear Water' Initiative which is aimed at paddlers to get down to their local paddling spots and clear up a bit. The club has been tackling this for a couple of years and plan to get down to it again on the 26th April at the Kilbirnie Loch. A shortcut to the SCA release can be found here. Richard has spoken about the event at the Loch Management Meeting and we hopefully will have some help from some of the other loch users. All you need to bring along is some gloves!
